As an author and speaker, Bryan Stewart imparts the value of inspiration, ingenuity, partnership, and perseverance as guideposts for leading people, organizations, and causes.

His pioneering leadership of national, state, and regional initiatives—including the subject of his book, the Donate Life Rose Parade® Float campaign—contributed to dramatic increases in organ donation rates over the course of a decade.

Bryan's marketing, communications, and branding expertise has benefited more than a dozen for-profit and nonprofit entities, including Donate Life America, Donate Life California, OneLegacyExplore Transplant, Living Donation California, and Major League Soccer.

In 2001, lung transplant recipient Gary Foxen shared his vision of an organ donation-themed float in the Rose Parade as a way to thank donors and celebrate what transplantation makes possible. Bryan Stewart saw an even greater possibility: to inspire millions of Americans to choose to be organ, eye and tissue donors.

Hope Blooms: Organ Donation, the Rose Parade, and Our Journey to Save Lives, an intimate 12-year account of the genesis, evolution and institution of Donate Life's participation in America's New Year Celebration®, introduces readers to the people, events, and moments of joy, sorrow, and grace that defined a community-galvanizing mission to help many more people live, or live more fully, through the gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.
